The KMK Process: All of your metal fabrication needs under one roof
One of the aspects that sets KMK apart is our complement of fabrication capabilities. We aren’t just a sheet metal fabrication shop–we also are experts at wire forming and tube fabrication, which is often required for various product assemblies. In addition, we also have a fully-automated powder coating line in-house for a clean, durable finish that can be easily customized according to customer requirements for color and texture.
Most often, especially for complicated projects like carts, racks, housings, brackets, metal supports, store fixtures, or other fabrications, metal forming alone doesn’t cover the design requirements. Typically, designs for products like these require some combination of sheet metal fabrication, tube fabrication, and wire forming.
Most fabrication shops only have one or two of the capabilities that are necessary for completing these projects, and they or their customers have to outsource the project to other suppliers for services such as wire forming, tube fabrication, or welding and assembly. This increases the lead times for the project and the shipping and production costs associated with the project as well.

Rather than having these various types of fabrication outsourced to separate suppliers, KMK provides all of these services in-house, from sheet metal fabrication to wire forming to tube fabrication to assembly. We are uniquely positioned to provide full assemblies of products–or full production and sub-assembly of the individual parts so that they can be quickly put together when they arrive at our customers’ facilities.
Powder Coating
Our facility also features an automated powder coating system that unloads right into the packaging and assembly area of the shop. With this line, we can offer an efficient and quality fabrication process from start to finish, reducing and often eliminating the need for our customers to outsource different operations to multiple suppliers. This full range of fabrication services allows us to make a wide variety of carts, racks, enclosures, store fixtures, and much more for our partners.
