KMK is a family-owned company providing metal fabrication right in the heart of the U.S., in the metropolitan area of St. Louis. Our location is one of our benefits–we’re centrally located in the U.S., with easy access to all of the major interstates, and by extension the largest cities of the region, like St. Louis, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Chicago, Des Moines, and Tulsa, just to name a few. Our facility is right outside of St. Louis, featuring a large manufacturing space and a huge solar panel array that powers a significant portion of our building. This location also provides us access to the large St. Louis airport as well!
Being right here in the Midwest allows us to reduce shipping costs to and from our facility, and makes us a lot more accessible to our customers. We can offer lower supply chain costs, shorter lead times, and more efficient long-term production costs. Shipping times are generally shorter as well, so you can receive your products on time, wherever you need them.
KMK’s Fabrication and Powder Coating Services
KMK is a metal fabrication company that is invested in helping our customers succeed by providing them with expert sheet metal, tube, and wire fabrication services, as well as several value-added capabilities like an automated powder coating line, expert welders and robotic welding, and in-house assembly and packaging.
Sheet Metal Fabrication
KMK works with a variety of metals, such as carbon, galvanized steel, aluminum, and stainless steel sheets, creating quality, customized solutions for our customers. Our capabilities include fiber laser cutting, turret punching, bending, and robotic and manual welding.
Tube Fabrication
We offer a complement of fabrication services that allow us to develop complex products such as enclosures, structural components, and more. Metal tube fabrication is part of that package, and we fabricate carbon, aluminum, and stainless steel tubing into products that meet customer specifications.
Wire Forming
KMK also offers expert metal wire fabrication, which in combination with our sheet metal and tubing services, allows us to make a wide range of complex products like carts, racks, and enclosures, all in-house. We work with carbon steel in thicknesses ranging from 0.120 to 0.375 inches and stainless steel wire up to 0.25 inch.
Powder Coating
KMK’s fully automated powder coating line unloads right into our assembly and packaging facility, providing our customers with a quality, finished product and a much more efficient production process.
